About Us

Steinwall was founded to serve and provide independent living solutions for those requiring home adaptations and home improvements; but also to serve the needs of other stakeholders involved the Health and Social Care sectors.

The aim is to truly understand what it is that YOU need and to then work WITH you to deliver that outcome.

We are a young and vibrant company and focus on inclusive environmental design for our clients, with the aim of providing solutions that YOU actually want but that also meets your needs.

We understand the importance of client participation and encourage the expression of your views, seeking to ensure YOU always remain the focal point of the work we are doing.

Our mission is to improve the customer journey and reduce waiting times for people waiting for major adaptations in the home. In addition to this we work to try and prevent hospital admission or to help speed up the process for some people coming home from hospital - ensuring homes and surrounding environments are safe.

We are fortunate to have Surveying experience that has been gained by working with many Local Authorities, Housing Associations but also in the private sector. This has provided a great opportunity to learn and develop a service that is very much about the 'person' involved - not just the building they are living in.

As well as supporting privately funded projects (paid for directly by the client), at Steinwall we also support our clients through the Disabled Facilities Grant application/approval process, gaining access to up to £30,000 to assist with design and build costs. We provide a full service from assessment of needs, the grant application, design work and costings, right through to the building work.
